Patch Panel and Workstation Products


The SPD-PP100 and the SPD-MJ100 are part of the ATS Universal Series category 5e data line surge and transient protection products UTP high speed data communication distribution multi-patch panel and workstations protector. The SPD-PP100 and the SPD-MJ100 products are designed to provide secondary protection for the following type of noises: Electrostatic Discharge(IEC 1000-4-2) all levels, Electrical Fast transients (IEC 1000-4-4) all levels, Surge Immunity (IEC 1000-4-5 Level 3). The installed SPD-PP100 operates transparent in the transmission link and provides no degradation in data transmission category 5 performance to the patch panel and the installed SPD-MJ100 operates transparent in the transmission link to the workstation. Both of SPD-PP100 and SPD-MJ100 exceed the specification for Electronic Industry Association (EIA) 568A and Technical Service Bulletin TSB-40A category 5 standards.

  • Solid State design for unlimited and repeatable noise performance.
  • Meets and exceeds all TIA/EIA 569A and TSB 40A Category 5 connecting hardware specifications.
  • Meets and exceeds the mechanical, electrical and clearance specification in FCC Rules and Regulations Part 68.
  • 110 IDC will accept 22-26 AWG insulated solid or stranded wire.
  • All pairs are unidirectionally protected.
  • Interface correction: RJ45 to 110 Insulation Displacement Contact.
  • Pre-Assemebled near cable holder for quick and easy wire management.
  • Interface correction: RJ45 to RJ45.
